i.t apparels Ltd has been sponsoring the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) “Best Footwear Design Award” since 2015, providing guidance and co-developing a limited edition based on the winning footwear for the official launch. Charlotte Ng, the winner of 2018, will launch her music-inspired capsule collection “Indie Walker” on 11 June, with the support of Cantopop star Charmaine Fong.

The collection is titled “Indie Walker”, which Ng says encourages people to “be brave and move forward, set out your own path and live your life fully”. The collection comprises two styles of shoes, with the lines on the surface inspired by musical sound waves and the metal element inspired by the plugs used for audio equipment. The overall design aims to inject rhythm into the wearer’s life.
