Born in Indonesia, but raised and educated in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, Novi has an international perspective on British and Asian culture. Novi began her exploration of handicraft at college, establishing her pioneering point of view at that time. Her passion for crafts began to evolve in a stage of experimentation, at which time she began researching and developing her craftsmanship. After a long period of exploration in handicrafts, she began understanding important details in crafting and recognising the quality differences in materials. In 2016, despite the downturned retail economy, the young craftswoman partnered with Luke, who had a design and business background, to create her first collection utilising high-quality materials and workmanship. Manofatto is inspired by shapes and symbols associated with adornment, architecture, and interior design, offering a contemporary style on made-in-Hong Kong craftsmanship. "I like to create something with my hands, even though the world is chasing after automation and fast turnover. Creating with our hands makes things very personal and allows us to earn more instant gratification when we receive positive reactions to our work as compared to factory mass-produced products. We might not be as well-known as famous brands, but our passion and effort placed into our designs and products will not be less."

Having the skill transfer from his mother, not only did Seth Yeung grasp the skills of knitting and patching, but also developed a strong interest in stitching and a close attention to details. Having identified his own strength in knitwear and fur design, he participated in the YDC 2010 with his winning Party and Evening Wear collection “Spread”, an unconventional combination of luxury cashmere, fur and 3D hand beading. He then went on to study at London College of Fashion and got precious chances to collaborate with YSL, Yves Salomon and Roberto Cavalli. In 2012, he built his namesake label, a line of affordable fur and knitwear with a young and edgy touch, targeting forward thinking consumers who are keen to wear experimental design and do the mix and match on their own. Now his collection is on offer at Japan, Australia, Britain and Hong Kong. His upcoming collection at Hong Kong Fashion Week this July is a line of environmentally conscious knitwear denim imitating the washed and indigo effect. Inspired by the construction workers, it is a knitwear interpretation of woven texture featuring raw details.

Sophia XinLi, the founder of fluidité, received a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Hunan University, China and then practiced as an architect in Shanghai and Hong Kong for more than 10 years. During the early years of her career, whilst exploring the meaning of design, she witnessed her hometown, Zhuzhou, a typical industrial city, develop into a successful but emotionless concrete metropolis. The loss of the spiritual, emotional background to her childhood memories was deeply felt and so Sophia found her destiny - creating emotion in design. Through her architectural design work and her interest in photography and art, Sophia became fascinated with how form, lighting and texture arouse human emotion - how physical objects can generate an expression of spirit. In 2019, Sophia founded her fashion brand, FORME DE fluidité; a dedicated design business which interprets expression through space and form, to introduce artistic emotion and meaning to everyday life.
