Nelson Leung and Kurt Ho became good friends after competing at YDC in 2014. They have since been working on their own labels but decided to co-launch a new label, “Fake Fan”, as an outlet for a completely different aesthetic: fast-moving streetwear that can react to what’s happening in the world today. Compared to their eponymous labels, Fake Fan is more reasonably priced, using a plethora of printed graphics on wearable designs aimed at young fashion lovers.
