Inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci’s classic film “The Dreamers”, this SS22 collection is romantic and exudes 1930s French chic with lots of lace, bows and narrow waists. Chiffon and lace create the sheer effect, while a new print incorporating trees adds to the romanticism. Lapeewee is renowned for creating empowering suits but this season it has produced a more subtle form of feminine power, with sheerness, flowing hemlines and volume.
