JOYCE, a purveyor of taste and style, provides the very best collections from talented creatives from around the world. For designers, it is certainly an honour and a privilege to collaborate with JOYCE.

Last year, the winning collections of the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) was first made available at JOYCE. Major items of the four winning collections were sold out within a week, underlining the quality and market potential of Hong Kong design.

Once again this year, te winning collections of YDC2012 are now on display, and available for sale, exclusively at JOYCE Causeway Bay Lee Gardens shop until 18 July.

Seated on the YDC judging panels for two years, Michael Mok, Divisional Merchandise Manager of JOYCE Boutique Ltd. is committed to nurturing design talents through innovative projects that go beyond the fashion realm. “I like all three YDC winning collections this year but my favourite is the Overall Winner, to which I also gave the highest score! It’s an evening collection in black and yellow made from neoprene. The contrast in colours and image are very strong. It’s also very on trend. I believe it will sell well, especially among customers with edgier taste.”
