FASHIONALLY Pop-up Event at PMQ

For the first time, local shoppers have the opportunity to shop 23 Hong Kong labels under one roof, at the creative hub PMQ in Central.

PMQ has long been the place to go if you want to check out what Hong Kong’s creative entrepreneurs have to offer, from clothing to accessories to all kinds of lifestyle products, crafts, culinary arts and other services. It is there that you can enjoy an afternoon of shopping, strolling in a historic building and then sitting down in a cosy cafe in semi alfresco setting to watch the world go by. 23 Senses gives you yet another reason to visit PMQ as you update your wardrobe for the summer.

23 Senses is being held over three weeks to introduce to shoppers some of Hong Kong’s finest designers, including familiar names as well as newly launched labels. Together they present an eclectic showcase of the latest Spring/Summer 2018 styles, appealing to every taste from the sporty to elegant.

A launch party was held on April 27 at the quirky Garden Meow cafe, where the designers and the fashion crowd mingled after touring the 9 shops that participate in the pop up event.

PMQ residents HARRISON WONG, Phenotypsetter, YEUNG CHIN, BLIND by JW, MODEMENT, CALVIN KWOK, HAK, POMCH and Design Gallery are participating in the event and have welcomed other designer collections into their shops. Among the labels presented, some are launching their designs for the first time, such as S.F.Z. Sons, a collaboration between young designer Sonic Lam and renowned street artist Start From Zero; and YMDH by Jason Lee, winner of the Best Footwear Design Award at YDC 2017.

YLYstudio, launched recently by design duo Matt Hui and Lilian Tsang, presents its first collection incorporating the art of embroidery and knitwear. Labels such as KENSON, NECRO POON, NELSONBLACKLE and KURT HO, which were previously sold only in overseas markets, are available locally for the first time.
